Teaching staff

Careful recruitment

Teachers are English native and they are carefully recruited for our programs. They should not only be able to teach but to participate in the general running of the College. They need to be dynamic as they spend many hours with the same group.

Compromise

Prior to the commencement of the Programs they have to attend an Induction Course in order to know about our methodology. They have to take the best out of every student and this can only be achieved through great enthusiasm, dedication and , of course, their know-how.

Responsibility

Every Teacher is responsIble of his/her group. In the Classic program, they teach the group, have lunch with the same and take the students into town or nearby locations.

Evaluation test

Upon arrival , students will attend to an examination in order to test them and allocate them in the right group, according to their English level and age. These aspects make learning much easier for the students. Groups consist of a maximum of 16 students per class.

Conversation

With Independence of the program they attend to, Standard, Classic programs, students may have to Conversation Lessons. These are available from the second week, that is, from the 6th of July. These are not compulsory although we encourage our students to participate . They last one hour from Monday till Thursday, from 19:45 to 20:45. These are free of charge.

Didactic material

HOLY CHILD gives every student a Text Book (this will be returned by the end of the Course), a notebook and a pen.

Those students attending a four week Classic Program at the HOLY CHILD may have the opportunity of taking up the TRINITY COLLEGE LONDON exam , free of charge.
